I love working with such fun and loving couples and Saimun and Him ticked both boxes. The couple came from Hong Kong and decided to get married in the “Banyan Tree Hotel” Phuket, Thailand as they had always wanted to have a destination wedding. A place were they could not only capture their friends and family on their special day but the beautiful surroundings that Phuket has to offer.

In the morning they had a traditional Chinese tea ceremony with their immediate family and friends, both being Chinese it is very polite and important for their parents to keep the tradition running through the generations of welcoming each other into their families.

In the afternoon followed a western ceremony, where they exchanged their vowels and rings to each other. They had many guests fly over from Honk Kong to celebrate their big day with them. After shooting lots of photographs with family and friends, the day ran smoothly into the evening where they had dinner and speeches.

The couple got extremely lucky with the weather all day as in July it is classed as low season here and there is always a possibility of rain. But the sun shone throughout the whole day for them and only just after the wonderful display of fireworks did the heavens open and along came a downpour of rain.

It was my pleasure working with such a beautiful couple and their families, we had a lot of fun throughout the day and I am very pleased you liked your photographs.
